I really want my f.g. to feel special, and love what they are wearing. So, I am thinking about having my two gorgeous flowergirls (ages 2 and 3) wear tulle skirts with a leotard underneath for our wedding. The colors would be either champagne, ivory, peach, light pink, or maybe teal. I mean, look how cute these girls are! I almost want to order one just for myself! 😉
And this etsy lady makes reversible skirts! How cool is that?

I have an 8 year-old and a 4 year old as my flowergirls. They are wearing these with sliver flats and a blue flower headband in their hair:

@Sschaf: I will be following this thread. My mom and I are planning on making the flower girl dresses and I am loving the tutu type skirts. FI isn’t sold yet (and on of the FGs is his daughter) but I think that once he sees her in it he will melt 🙂

Yay! Im happy to hear that Im not the only bride going a bit unconventional. I definitely think he’ll melt when he sees how sweet they can be. For some of the more traditional fg gowns, I just feel they are too grown up for the girls. Lets allow these little cuties to be their age, and Love it.

My FG will be my daughter who will be 7 1/2 at the wedding. I love the dress she is wearing, I wanted something girly and flowing in chiffon. She will be carrying red sunflowers and I may be adding yellow sunflowers in the bouquet as well (she isn’t carrying a basket but a smaller replica of the BM bouquets.)

I wanted something that would be comfortable and COLORED… my DH niece (our f.g) is not one to stay clean so we went with this

is the style for my flower girl but with a black lace overlay rather than net and with a silver sash that ties at the back.
my older girls are in ivory dresses with black lace over and silver sashes so we decided to give the tiny lace too for her skirt

I like this one from eBay, flower girls aged 2 and 8 🙂

This is our flowergirl dress for my 7 year old cousin (FG) 🙂 It comes with a pink peony bloom and she’ll be wearing little pink roses in her hair. Her mum has found the cutest pair of strappy ivory satin shoes that almost match the bridesmaids shoes too!
