although if anyone is looking for a delicious pinterest recipe, trypaula deen's crockpot mac and cheese! i made it for thanksgiving and it was delish! i added gruyere (sp?) cheese and that made it even better!

You are the third person to mention that mac and cheese to me, so I will have to add it down for dinner this week.

Ok...this isn't from the internet but I have to share this recipe!
To give credit from the original...its on a box of barilla pasta plus.
I looked on the website and couldn't find it but here's essentially the recipe that I fell in LOVE with:
Elbow pasta (cook and drain), roasted red peppers (do it in the oven! I used red/yellow/green, not just red), olive oil, mozzerella cheese, basil, salt, pepper, garlic.
The cheese doesn't reall melt, but just kind hangs out on the noodles. Its a very light flavor, but the flavors of the basil with the peppers and cheese is great. It was a big hit in my house! I recommend finding a box of barilla pasta plus elbows and checking out the back of the box.
@pccl: sometimes the best recipes are the simple ones, and it sound quick and easy to throw together. Will add it to my list. Thanks!

@tksjewelry: Oh my gosh you have to try the mac! I would leave out the eggs though, lots of people say it ruins the texture and I didn't use any either. Also, adding your own blend of high end cheeses is awesome. Let me know how it goes ;)

@bakerella - Really? That's disappointing., I was looking forward to making them :( What about them made it a thumbs-down? Anything you think could be remedied by tweaking the recipe?

@abbyful: Unfortunately it was just yuck. Lack of flavour in the breading, but also, just kind of a weird texture difference too, the super crunchy exterior just giving away to a mushy interior. Fries still have substance inside you know? I also didn't love the sauce.
