missdee13 : breanna2159 : observer : thank you, I’ve been stressing about it but I’m confident they’ll make it look nice. I’ve also ordered a veil. Within the next week honestly. Hopefully i don’t need alterations with the lace up back.
jellydino : i remember your first dress, it was very pretty and my inspiration to use 2.0! I hope whichever dress you decide on is everything you want and More.

Ladies! I got my dress from The Shop on Monday and had to wait all the way until today to try it on privately. Their DHL delivery was really organized and well-tracked. Well, here it is!
I was so excited (and nervous as hell) to open the package. When I pulled it on, it fit my hips and bum like a glove. And this was the part I was worried about seeing from the production pictures. But then, the waist and bust are loose on me! You can’t really tell in these pictures but there is a lot of room there. This isn’t The Shop’s fault. The tailor measured me with my bra on with the intention of adding cups.. but I kind of regret that now as I’d rather have it nice and snug. Plus it’s a bit too long.
Bees, what’s your experience with getting your dresses altered? How well are they able to do this. There are pearls and details in the way that I’m worried about.
But besides that, the quality feels phenomenal. The colour is just gorgeous. I am in love with it! It looks like I paid so much more for it! And I only waited 2.5 months since ordering it in March.
I hope my experience with The Shop can help guide anyone reading this. I will update once I meet with the tailor on Friday.

Dhl tells you daily where the dress is by tracking stopped telling me the 16th when the expected arrival date was 18th called and they said there was a delay so it’s coming tomorrow 19th mom called and said it was here by 0900 lol left The shop a 100$ tip as should all you guys if not at least 50$. Only thing wrong with my dress is the shoulder sleeve falls constantly. Train of dress is so long only half made the picture.

mrstopaz : Thank you 🙂 Yeah my first dress is pretty but it fit weird and now I know why. It’s so disappointing when you go to get alterations and they basically say “your dress is a mess!” 🙁 Well I hope the second dress is better. I sent them the changes to make a week ago but I actually never got a response. So I have no idea if they are making the changes.
Yours looks lovely though. I think getting the lace up back is a good idea as then the fit is more adjustable. Can’t wait to see the pics of it on!

- Wedding: February 2017
Wow so the last time I posted in here, was 2015! I was meant to get married Feb 6th 2017…. Cue fiance falling off his motorbike 3 weeks pre wedding and breaking his neck (hes fine now, its like nothing happened!!). So we had to postpone everything, and thank our lucky stars that fiance was ok, and all vendors and wedding planners were fab and didn’t charge us a dime to postpone.
I went down the path of getting my dress made by a local seamstress, now I look at it and it makes me want to be sick. I need a FAB dressmaker in the replica world, who can look at a handful of pics of the dress I now want, and make it no fuss, I’m a no fuss type of person, literally just make it and send it to me ASAP for Oct 6th wedding. Any help bees?

So it’s been a while since i last posted… http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/post-your-replica-wedding-dress-mid-productionfinal-photos-part-15/page/46#post-10144777
I got married on 1st October 2016 and have been asked a couple of times for photos of the dress on my wedding day so here they are… I hope they give you more of an idea what my dress was like.
I had to have a couple of alterations so took my dress to a local bridal shop to have it taken in and they also managed to detach the train so i could whip it off for the evening. Thank god they did because there was no way i would have made it anywhere near the dance floor if they hadnt. I absolutely loved the 2.5m train but it 100% needed to be detachable.
