Ours went something like:
Will you be able to attend our wedding?
__Yes! Wild bunnies couldn't keep us away!
__ No! Sorry, we heard about the wild bunnies.
Guess what kind pets we have?
Then we had spaces for number attending and meal choices.
Bumping this because I need ideas, too!! Here are a few variations that we're considering:
We hope you can join our celebration!

Just a suggestion. If you are going to include meal choice on the reply, you may want to have number of guest(s) beside each item instead of initials. They may each want something different.
We haven't decided on our wording yet or if we are going for a buffet or seated.
Here's the current version of ours:

We're having buffeted dinner and most guests are coming in from OOT.

I'm keeping a tight fist on our guest lists and (apparently, according to some) being something of a be-atch about it. No dates for singles, no kids. Don't like it? Tough. We're paying for this thing and I can't afford to feed your sorta-kinda-on-again-off-again boyfriend.
We are doing:

and changing it to 1, 3, 4 etc as needed. My mom thinks this is confusing, what do you girls think?
Here's the wording on our reply postcard:
And here's the actual card:
These are cute ideas! I'm still gathering ideas for what we'll use for ours!
Ours are super straightforward and traditional. We are having stations, so no need to ask for meal choices. And we aren't giving people the option to fill in number of guests, since the names of the invited guests will appear on the envelope. We are pretty sure (or at least very hopeful!!) that if an invitation comes to "Miss Jane Doe" and not "Miss Jane Doe and guest," she will understand that she's not invited with a guest! Or "Mr. and Mrs. John Smith" means that the 5 adorable Smith moppets are not invited...
Ugh, attachment didn't work. Trying again, but ignore the odd cropping - the card actually does have margins in real life!
We're pretty non-traditional, so ours read:
We've reserved (2) seats for you on the dance floor:
Start the music?
_Slipping on my dancing shoes!
_Sorry, my shoes are at the cobbler.

These are all so cute, I will share mine as soon as I decide!
We are having a buffet dinner (no food choice needed on response card) and I don't really want to write out the M_________ with the names, is that ok? We will probably do the ___ out of ____ invited.
