What kind of shoes are you ladies wearing with your dress? I am not really a heels kinda gal but on my wedding day I really want to wear a slight heel nothing higher than 2.5 inches. I have been searching every where for the perfect heel and have found nothing so far.

i had 2 pairs that i bought, with a plan of changing into the gold for the reception to dance, but the blue ones hurt my feet so bad, that I gave up and wore flip-flops under the dress for the whole reception.

ETA: the blue didn't hurt because of height- they pinched the tops of my toes!

I was going to wear flats but I figured, eh you only get married once I might as well have awesome shoes! I never wear heels because I'm so tall (5'10") but I'm saying screw it, and putting them on for our big day!

They are not my absolute ideal shoes, but the closest I could get and still be happy...either of these two will be my wedding day shoes, the ones with the ankle strap might had a flower added, unsure yet.

Here are mine... I was limited to a low heel because I am tall and my dress doesn't have enough extra fabric for me to wear anything over 1.5 inches.

I'm not really "into" shoes much. But I found a pair at Sears (my least favorite store that I never go in, but just happened to that day), for $18. My bridal store had the same exact pair for $79!! Maybe I don't hate Sears as much as I thought....

Oh, and they are a low heel. FI is not much taller than I and I will be walking on grass.

but have about an inch higher heel and they are steve maddens, I can't find them on the dsw site anymore and couldn't find them in the store, I was so sad, but I decided to look in clearance and walked into my size section and there they were eye level and I heard "ahhhhhhhhhh"

This is what I've decided on so far: Nina Culver. I haven't ordered them yet but I plan on ordering a black test pair to wear for other occasions first. But if I can find a burgundy pair if shoes in a 2.5" heel or less, I'll be getting those! I'm not sure how well my feet will do in these shoes since most of my work heels make my feet hurt like crazy after a few hours, but that's why I'm getting a test pair!
