@coffeeeeee:  Yaaay! That is a HUGE milestone! I freaked out BIG TIME when I got back into the 120s!

I went from 173lbs in early 2011 to 122lbs in March 2013!

Like you, I hit the gym, starting eating veggies like it was my job, and I ran a half marathon six days before our wedding!

Finally after years of trying, I finally dipped below 110lbs. Now I weigh 108lbs at 5’6, and the odd thing is, without altering much of my diet… I even exercise less now, so I really don’t know what happened Surprised… Lol… Unless I’ve been losing muscle, and what’s left is mostly fat; if that’s the case, it isn’t an accomplishment then..

Anyway, congrats on your weight loss! I know it feels terribly exciting to hit a certain milestone Smile

I have lost 28 pounds since February doing MFP, and I feel great and look great. Still have a ways to go, but this weekend I get to go shopping for pretty much a new closet full of clothes because I have done all I can done with all the baggy clothes.

Here’s my victory… after gaining a “newlywed-nine” I lost 5lbs this month! I NEVER thought I would get my motivation back to lose weight after the wedding but I’m glad I fought for it!

Love hearing everyone’s success stories!  I started going to the gym in 2009, lost 40lbs that year, and have kept it off ever since.

This year, my FI and I have started weight training, which has been a new challenge for me becaue up until then I’ve been doing cardio.  The other day, I was jokingly flexing my muscles for him and he said “Daaaamn you have arm and shoulder muscles now”.  It finally hit me that I’m starting to get more toned and I’m able to lift more weight than ever.  It’s a really good feeling.

@coffeeeeee:  Yay, I love this thread! Big success – I am down 45 pounds since February. Small success – last night I ran the fastest two miles I’ve run in 2 years. First mile was 8:23, second was 8:16. 5 months ago I couldn’t run a slow mile without stopping. I’m getting back to my old running shape and I couldn’t be more excited!!

I’m four pounds away from the lightest I’ve been in 5 years.
