Im getting married on friday and have absolutely no idea on how I want my nails done. At first I thought they would be my something blue but now im more leanimg towards a french manicure with a blue blinged out ring finger.
On so many other posts the nails are superb! Please post your wedding day ring pics with your mani.

@adellempress: So all fingers but your ring finger would be a traditional french mani? I’ve actually thought about this a lot, because I do an “accent” nail all the time for my regular manicures. But I think for my wedding I’ll skip this, because I feel like it might be a trend that seems sort of weird in the future. I’m just picturing my future daughter asking why I had ONE silver nail or whatever, and her thinking it’s super lame. Ha!
ETA: I mean more like this. Not like the PP above who just added bling.

Mine was just a traditional french manicure. I wear them that way 100% of the time.

@adellempress: I manage a nail salon, so I see a LOT of wedding day manicures. Right now I have this on, I did it right after we got engaged too(the pic is from then): a regular pretty pink on all my nails with a subtle sparkle on top of my ring fingers for an accent nail!
I would strongly reccomend getting a shellac or OPI colour gel or gelish (whichever brand your place does) mani for your wedding, you’ll leave with dry nails that won’t chip for two weeks!

I got gel nail polish and I just got a very light pink, which is often how I wear my nails anyway. Like others, I highly recommend getting gel nail polish–it’ll last for 2 weeks and won’t chip!

@christinamarie980: Gorgeous! I like the accent on the ring finger. I put a little flower on my ring finger after the proposal and getting the e-ring. 🙂

There is something about a clean, not too-stark-white finish about the Essie-Marshmallow nail polish that just makes any ring look even more classy and precious. I would love this exact look for my nails. I think anything too blingy or fancy would take away from your gorgeous rings! Happy Shopping! and have a great wedding tomorrow!!!

And @Ms.GoodEarth: +1 on the gel. Mine wouldn’t come off, though! So be sure to go back to the same person who applied it. I went to a different salon, and he was unfamiliar with gel and probably removed a top layer of nail using a grinding tool to get it off.

@eena_banana: Love this! I want to go out and buy that color now.

@eena_banana: That’s so nice! I have only tried a white one time and it was WHITE white. I hated it. This one looks really nice and toned down. 🙂
