I too am wondering this… I don’t even know when to plan the ceremony for!  How long are receptions?  How long do photos take? ahhh

Photographer arrives at 11 am.

11-12:30get ready


Pre ceremony time line

12:30 Mike and groomsmen
12:50 Lilly and Bridesmaids,

1: 10 First look with Mike and Lilly

 1:30 entire Bridal Party
2:00 church photos

4:00 Family
4:30 Hide and Touch up
5:00 Ceremony

Reception time line

5:30-5:45 open doors

Cocktail hour

6:15 introduction of bridal party, bride and groom- Oregon state fight song

6:20 dances- first dance- God made me you by Blake Shelton

6:30 start food

7 00 toasts

7 20 mother son dance-my wish rascal flats

7:25 father daughter dance- Cinderella by Steven Curtis chapman

7:35- longest married couple dance– Forever and ever amen by Randy Travis 

7: 45 dance floor is open

8:15 cake cutting- All my life I will never find another by kc jojo

9:00 garter- Cherry pie warrant

 Bouquet toss- This one is for the girls Martina mc bride              

10:55 LAST DANCE– I swear by michael Montgomery    

11 pm exit – end reception.

@galloway111:  off site- i having my hair appointment set for nine am bridesmaids are suppose to have their hair done and be back by 11 am. this way we will do the fake hair photos and make up will most likely be done on site but still working on that job.  my bridesmaids will be meeting at hotle at 6am to help me set up some details the reception cordinator wont do(candy buffet) after we set that up we will grab a lite breakfast and split to hair salons( im going to one, three said they will go to school of beauty 10 minutes away and one said she will do her own har.)

Here’s our rough draft looks like


6am – Get up in the morning with bridesmaids and take a shower

630 am – Get Breakfast from the hotel while our hair dresser shows up and starts working on the hair of my bridesmaids

9 am – my hair being fixed by hair dresser

1030 am – check out of hotel and go straight to the wedding site

11 am – Photographer shows up and we all get dressed in our wedding clothes

1130 am – meet my Fiance and get photos taken with our family/bridal party

2pm – Wedding cememory starts

230pm – Reception starts

5pm – Fiance and I leave the site to go on honeymoon

5:15 – 6pm – Family will clean up the site for us

I’m trying to do mine — this is really tentative, any critiques are welcomed!! (its on a Sunday fyi)

Brunch with bridesmaids: 10am-11am

Makeup/hair/dressing: 11am-2pm

Light lunch: 1pm

Leave for location: by 2pm

Arrive location: by 3pm

Photos (separate): 3pm-4pm

Guests arrive: 3.30pm-4pm

Ceremony: 4pm-4.30pm

Photos/cocktails: 4.30pm-6pm

Transition to dinner (buffet): 6pm – 6.20pm

Toasts: 6.30pm

First dance: 7.15pm

Cake cutting: 8.15pm

Garter/bouquet toss: 9.30pm

Last dance: 9.50

Bride and Groom depart: 10pm

Cleanup: 10pm-11pm

DEFINITELY not doing a first look, so that makes pictures more extensive after the ceremony :-/
