Since the Post Office has been slow to release new postcard rate stamps of a "loving" design, what are folks doing? Anything creative? Or just using the "fruit" design with the newest rate?
I went with fruit too. At least they're bright and summery.
It's not as bad as the fact that my invitations had to go out with the 58 cent and 1 cent stamps because they hadn't released the 59 cent stamp yet. (ug)
I went with the fruit, anf actually got a few compliments on them! People thought they were "summery" and "cute." Remember most people haven't seen them because postcards aren't that common in the mail.
I actually wasn't given a choice; the lady behind the counter just handed me a bunch of the fruit stamps. It all went well until I got to the sliced papaya, which looks suspiciously like a certain part of a woman's anatomy in desperate need of a wax. I made sure those went to people with excellent senses of humor.
