30 or so is ideal, I think.  I like to see pictures of weddings that I didn’t get to go to, enough to get an idea of what it looked like, but not so many that it gets boring to look through.  What one friend did recently that I HATED was she posted every picture (from her engagement shoot) in both color and black and white.  That was annoying.

@babycakes24:  I don’t think there’s a limit. As long as they don’t show up individually on peoples news feeds they shouldn’t care. My cousin just made a “wedding” album on facebook and it has 100+ pics. I was there and I liked looking through all of them

@babycakes24:  I created a Wedding album on my Facebook, and since we eloped I went ahead and just attached all of our pictures (152). Since we didn’t have anyone there, our family and friends really enjoyed being able to “experience” it with us. 🙂

@Little_Hedgy:  +1. I would make a wedding album and NOT post them individually. I made a wedding album and I had 101 photos uploaded to the album.

@babycakes24:  55 is fine. That’s why photos are organised into albums. People can look at them if they want to. If they don’t want to, they don’t. I’ve seen 100+ photos in an album for much more mundane things like ski trips and even pub crawls.

Out of 500 I posted 100. I didn’t want to post all 500 because I know a guy who posts over 500 from every vacation he takes. Now that’s annoying!

I don’t think there’s a limit. Unless Facebook doesn’t allow a certain amount in an album. If that happens make a second one! Haha I love looking at wedding pics.

@babycakes24:  I think if it were me, it’s my Facebook and I’ll post as many pictures as I want. I’m not making anyone look if they don’t want to.

Id say 50-100. Thats about the amount many photographers blog. Making a print album usually has 75-150 images. Pick enough to tell the story of your day. 🙂

Psh! If you’re creating an album, I say why be shy?! 🙂 I love looking at the pictures of my friends on their wedding days! As long as you aren’t posting said pictures individually and completely blowing up the feed, what difference does it make? Get it, girl! 😉
