prahajess:  Don’t panic! Take a deep breath.

I personally don’t have experience with this BUT the venue that I booked recently changed management (a few months before I booked) and I was told nothing but WONDERFUL things about how the new management treated couples who had booked before they took over.

Like you, the other couples only found out about the management switch after calling. The new management company was just crazy busy trying to get everything in order. The new company is also a package deal company (it is now an all inclusive venue: food, cake, table cloths, chivari chairs, etc.)

Not only did the new management company honor the prices from the old management company, but they threw in all of their upgrades that come standard in their now much more expensive package at no charge as a thank you to the couples who were patient enough to bear with them during the time of transition.

Take the time to meet with this new manager. Maybe they have good news for you! Don’t worry yourself until you know there’s a reason to worry : things might turn out even better than you planned!

Let us all know how it turns out 🙂 Sending good vibes your way!
