Hoping you all can help! My husband and I are going to a reunion get-together with former classmates of his. It is potluck. The crowd is usually 12 or so women and 2-4 men. He is thinking of making a Mac and cheese. Which sounds better? Or should we scrap the Mac and cheese plan based on the crowd?

I like mac and cheese, but neither of those is particularly appealing to me. We made a buffalo chicken mac and cheese last week that was seriously delicious. Or go traditional. Paula Deen’s traditional style crockpot mac and cheese is always a winner. Just make sure to temper the eggs before incorporating them (or skip the eggs alltogether).

I think the mac and cheese with broccoli and chicken would look prettier.

@lovekiss: Buffalo Chicken Mac is amazing.
@heathaah: I voted for the chicken and broccoli for added nutrients. Another option I love is chicken with sauteed bellpeppers and onions mixed in the mac and cheese.

As a vegetarian, I vote plain mac and cheese. 😉

I would go with plain mac ‘n cheese. You could always have the meat on the side for those who want it.
