I have a crockpot gumbo recipe that I love. I adapted this recipe by just mixing the roux and broth on the stove then throw everything in the crock pot.

This is the best pot roast recipe ever. You could make it in a crockpot.

I love her pulled pork recipe too, which I made in the crockpot.

She made sandwiches with it here:

I would love to see any of that goodness at a potluck.

Soup is always a good one!  You can either make soup in the crockpot, or cook it on the stove/oven and use the crockpot to keep it warm.  My usual go to is vegetable minestrone, chili or chicken tortilla (depending on if the crowd will be more meat eaters or vegie eaters)

My mom always made italian meatballs and would leave them in the crock pot. You can also buy frozen ones too.  Super easy and really good. You could serve over rice or just on their own!
