I am not sure about the look of your wedding but you could paint the clay pots a color and then even add a ribbon if you wanted. It might be nice to add more green to it like moss or something to cover up any soil This is from martha s. and they added white paper butterflies. The other picture is neat and they used baskets. I think if you found some wood square boxes, baskets or clay pots even ones that you paint yourself it would look pretty.

Ooh thanks for the photos. It's actually not for our actual wedding but for a pre-party we are having for friends (we are having only 13 ppl at the wedding itself). I found another wedding bee post that suggested burlap bags. Found these just now:
That could be interesting, they have round bottoms too! Don't knwo about quality though, but they are pretty inexpensive, so should be ok.

Hi all!
We're thinking about getting orchid centerpieces (potted). I just went to the farmer's market, and they said no problem, just tell them which ones we want a week before, and they can bring them the next week (only $8 each!).
Only problem is that they come in those ugly clear plastic orchid pots. Anyone know where I can find nicer looking pots that aren't too expensive to put them in? Or maybe I could buy some fabric or something to wrap around it. I'm not sure.
Anyone else with potted orchid centerpieces?
