@pittgirl4:  try with the exact name for the set in my case it was : brody pottery barn bedding…but then I tried brody bedding and I found new results. I bought 2 sets of sheets duvet cover and quilt for 430 instead of 700 and something.New things are added every week so if you are patient you will find the set you want.

I cant wait to have a baby and decorate with pottery barn.. best of luck if you post the set you want I will keep eyes open for you

@pittgirl4:  I splurged in bedding from carousel design.  If you love pbk bedding I say get he quilt and leave the bumper behind. Ruffled curtains are pretty easy to find right now.

I had the same problem, and I just ended up just getting the crib skirt and sheets.  Our curtains don’t match, but are a solid navy and look good.  They are blackout panels from Target.  I would pick a few pieces that you have to have and build everything around that.  For example, you don’t need a bumper.  eBay is a great idea as well!

@pittgirl4:  If you’re not oppsed to used, try craigslist! I’ve seen tons of stuff on there from Potter Barn kids.

I got mine from the Land of Nod (at least the crib skirt and sheets…I skipped bumpers and quilts since they really don’t get any use and bumpers aren’t recommended).  I think it’s pretty comparable ($ wise) to PBK though, which means it’s way more expensive than it needs to be.  I thought Target had cute sheets so you might look there!

Just picture all of those things covered in spit up, that helps keep me from splurging!

Agree with CL, I’ve always bumped into pbk items on there!  I know the feeling though, fell In love with pottrey barn curtains on eBay but even then 200$ ugh. Maybe one day I’ll splurge.

@pittgirl4:  you will not use a quilt & shouldn’t use bumpers. I loooove their bedding (and everything else) so my mom got me a bunch of their sheets & the crib skirt. I really wouldn’t spend a lot of any of it. It is all so pretty tho. Well maybe the curtain bc a blackout curtain is important!

I’m with mamadingdog. Since they don’t want  you to use bumpers and I can’t figure out what I would do with a quilt (certainly not put it on the baby at night) i’m instead geting like 4-5 (or 8) fun cute sheet sets. My mom even said that might be a waste since at some point it’s easier to pitch stained sheets that cost 8 dollars then ones that cost 40. But I figure I’ll have ‘nice’ sets for when people come over or I want the nursery to look cute and more industrial if there is a cronic leaking diaper issue at any point.
