That’s annoying. They should at least offer you the option of organizing it by their way or category. I don’t have a registry with PB, but on Amazon they split it up by the Amazon items and items from other stores which I’m not crazy about, but understand why they do it.

@Ladybird_:  I noticed that and it annoyed the hell out of me. I just gave up on all registries we did. I have had issues with every single one.

I see you arent getting married till September. Unless you have prewedding events soon, I wouldnt worry about your registry. We have had to change the stuff on it multiple times because most of these stores change their items each season. You have at least 2 seaon changes before your wedding, just be wary. Especially with pottery barn. They get rid of a lot of stuff on a regular basis.

Mine’s not like that at all. Mine are just grouped by “Also Available Online”. We didn’t go into the store to register (I did all my registeries online), so maybe that’s why?

Target’s registries are the same, and it’s horribly irritating. Why is my Kitchenaid mixer not with the other kitchen tools?!

@Ladybird_: Everything that’s similiar is grouped together, but I only wanted particular items from certain collections so maybe that’s why I didn’t notice. The Crate and Barrel one makes sense (we have that registry as well). Target is the one that bothers me. If I didn’t add anything for a section, its still there so you have to scroll past categories with nothing in them to find categories with things. That’s annoying, haha.

This, along with the fact that I would put something on the registry, then it would mysteriously disappear, or not have the right quantity, was the reason I nixed PB as one of my registry choices. 🙁  Sucks, because I love a lot of the basics from there!

@Ladybird_:  I ended up going with the old standbys – Macy’s and Bed, Bath and Beyond.  BBB is beyond phenomenal; they’ve been fantastic, have a fantastic assortment, and are great about shipping/packing.  We registered for a Bed Bath and Beyond exclusive color of Noritake, and all of our placesettings have been shipped and packed very well… not even a chip!  Macy’s is a little frustrating, because they tend to lose stock quickly, and I’ve noticed a few things are available to order, but ship in like 78 days (ridiculous), but I chose them because of their accessibility.
