@lisha_1988:  I have 3 pottery barn rugs (2 wool, 1 cotton) and they hold up really well with moving 3 times and having 2 dogs.  Also, my MOH just had her first baby and allllll of her nursery stuff is PB (she got so many gift cards to PB from her wedding after she was registered there, so she used it for the baby things).  I know she is really happy with everything she has (crib, changing table, crib linens, and a chair).

@lisha_1988:  My parents have a lot of issues with Pottery Barn lamps that they purchased years ago.  The switch on them now hardly work.  That being said, they’ve also owned beds and rugs from Pottery Barn and those have been just fine!

I would say 75% of the furnishing in my house (decor, furniture – sofas, desks, table & chairs -, linens, dishes) are from Pottery Barn. For the most part I think the quality is great, especially with the furniture. I think the decor items are the only things that are really not worth what they cost, only because I’ve been able to find similar things elsewhere for less.

The quality at PB is great! It is pricey but you get what you pay for with them and since a lot of their items are more timeless rather than trendy you are paying for something that you will have for a long time.

I love my (secondhand) pottery barn couch!  I don’t think it was treated very well by its previous owners and then I’ve moved with it twice and its still in perfect shape (though I did buy a new couch cover).

We bought our couch from Pottery Barn and we absolutely love it.  One night while watching TV my husband randomly said “this couch was such a good choice.”  It was adorable and I completely agree.  We bought our couch during an upholstery event which saved some money plus used our wedding registry discount too, lol.  We looked around at a lot of different places but the PB one stood out to us.  We love it!  We also own a tray from there and a piece of pottery, lol.  Everything has held up very nicely.  =)

Also, our couch is timeless.  Very classic and we bought it in a neautral color so we could jazz it up with diff pillows/blankets.

I have an awesome chandelier from them that I always get compliments on. However the media cabinet I got was good quality (heavy, real wood), but just not as shown in the picture, so it irritated me a bit.

We love Pottery Barn! I have several things from there. One is a duvet set that was used daily from the Summer of 2006 up until spring of this year. Held up great, despite numerous washings. Shows no signs of wear or discoloration, and I plan to save it for use in our guest bedroom.

I may have a problem.  Big ticket items from PB include: all my bedroom furniture, a daybed, side table, a media stand, a buffet, a corner desk, and a 6 piece patio set with cushions.   I also have some bedding, lamps, lots of dishes & dining/entertaining items, pillows, etc.

Love it all, though the dark wood furniture is a dust magnet. It’s all very good quality stuff and well made.  I take advantage of the credit card, where (at least in the US) you get $25 in store credit for each $250 you spend.
