@MsDontRushME:  My FH and I just attending a weekend Pre-Cana this past weekend and they talked about NFP, religion, communication, sexuality, budget, and family discussions. Basically, what you said you anticipated. We both really enjoyed what we went to.

@MsDontRushME:  I’ve just finished Pre-Cana and it was an eye opening experience for us as a couple.  We had a bad start at our first PC class (sexual morality and NFP).  In fact, there’s a thread about it.  Long story short:  FI left the class in tears.  But with some prayer and a little nudge, we decided to give it another shot.  Every time we would leave the classes (in order:  what is love, marriage as a sacrament, family of orgin, communication, finances), we would have a positive response.  In fact, we grew closer as a couple because of Pre-Cana.

The only thing I can say is be strong and be prepared for that sexual morality class.  It might be a little uncomfortable, especially if you and FI live together.

Are you sure you didn’t get duped into signing up for the priet’s college-level religion studies course? 😀

You’re right… it doesn’t really sound like what I’d expect for Pre-Cana.
