Have you tried searching through the Marriage section of Relationships at Barnes and Noble? They have alot of good books and any bookseller worth their salt will be able to tell you which ones are the most popular!

The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work

Why Marriages Succeed or Fail : And How You Can Make Yours Last

His Needs, Her Needs : Building an Affair-Proof Marriage

How to Improve Your Marriage Without Talking about It

are some that I would recommend...

Ooohhh, this is a good question! I've been looking for something like this too!
Someone posted the other day on 100 Questions to ask before you get married, or something similar to that? Hopefully someone posts the correct name so I can bookmark it ;o)
I liked "What No One Tells the Bride."
Gotcha covered, hotchild:
The Hard Questions : 100 Questions to Ask Before You Say ''I Do''
Is that the right one? There's another one called 101 Questions to ask Before you Get Engaged but it's a Christian Inspiration book.
And then there's this one:

Don't You Dare Get Married until You Read This! : The Book of Questions for Couples

and.. there are 4 or 5 other ones too! Um. I know books. So I'm sorry if there are too many options.

Wow...thanks for all of these suggestions ladies! I knew I could count on you! ;)
@KMSull: That actually wasn't the one I was thinking of, but B&N "suggested" the one I was!

Hello Hive...just looking to get some suggestions from you. I'm looking for a book that talks about the relationships between engaged and newlywed couples, and what it REALLY means to be married!
Most of the books I have found are heavily geared towards Catholic/Christian couples and focuses on the role God plays in a marriage. While I totally respect that, it's not really what I am looking for as my spritual path does not match up with those beliefs.
I figured you can never be TOO prepared for marriage! ;) THANKS!
