waxing a week before, if its your first time, do it a few months before to make sure you know the feeling and how your body reacts.  teeth whitening the same but i’d say do the white strips for a few months so you actually see a change over time, manicure & pedicure i’d do maybe a few days before.

I started with facials this week. I’m getting 3 facials 2 weeks apart from each other, so I can catch up (it’s been a while), then I’m just going to get them once a month till the big day. I’ll get the last one the week before the wedding.

I’m always getting my nails done so that’s no problem, I’ll get them done 2 days before the wedding (this way they are done for the rehearsal too).

Eyebrows probably the same day as the nails…

Oh and teeth witening I’ve already started with the whitening toothpaste and I”m incorporating white strips probably in August.

The wedding is in October.

Wilson2Bee:  I love facials, they leave your skin so clear and clean and soft…. they are very relaxing. You should try it out! They are addicting 🙂 except I’m a bit bummed out this time around. All the products they recommended I use are all anti aging. Made me feel a bit old haha

I like the whitening toothpaste. I don’t see any long lasting effects though. It seems like it only whitens for a little while. Granted I don’t need much bleaching but I don’t see it working as well as what a dentist would use, or the white strips.

The reason why I am thinking white strips vs dentist…. it is the same stuff. Same ingredients. The difference is…. you pay a lot of money with your dentist for faster restults. But at the end of the day, it is all the same. White strips are annoying and uncomfortable the half an hour you have them in… and you gotta do the treatment for longer. But they work great.

Once you use the strips, avoid red wine and coffee. At least until the big day. That stuff stains your teeth like crazy.

What brand of strips do you use? I’m thinking of doing them too as they’re much cheaper than going through my dentist!

I like these. I grind my teeth so I put on the strips and then I put on my mouth guards so the strips get inside every little groove. It is really tight that way but not a big deal.

Believe me I love my wine and coffee too…. but if you are bleaching and then drinking that afterwards…. you don’t get the same results.

The only thing I have to say is, be patient. You may not see the results yourself (it is like loosing weight, everyone notices but you) but they work. Be persistent and they will really make a difference.

I’ve used them twice before and I never had a complaint 🙂 Good luck ladies!

Thanks for the info! Will be hard to refrain from coffee especially… Luckily my wedding is in (Australian) summer so probably will be able to avoid red wine!
