My mom is actually doing something like this for me. Everytime we meet with the caterer, go to a dress shop, etc. she is snapping away! =) She said that she will also put pics of the bridal shower, cocktail party etc. in the scrapbook. I think that it is a great idea, and will be something that you will love to have years down the road for sure!
For what a huge process wedding planning is, it really is a great idea. You will never get to experience all of this again. I wish we had more time to be doing a scrapbook, but we can barely keep up with the planning.
Aww! That's cute!
I have an "inspiration" scrapbook. It has swatches, ribbon, pictures, etc in there... and will have pictures of me doing planning stuff, too!
I am doing one for my best friend and im gonna give it to her on the big day! it will be so fun to go through it and see all we have done.
ross had some amazing deals on scrapbooking stuff, i was very surprised
that's such a great idea! i've put in so much work diying for this wedding, i should have documented! i'm so bad at that though, i'm lucky that i actually have pictures of the bachelorette party, shower, etc. but that's actually thanks to my amazing bridal party!
Now that my wedding is over, this is my next project using photos from showers, the rehearsal dinner, engagement announcements, etc. I'm thinking of cutting out phrases from all the cards I got and using them in the scrapbook.
that brings up a great point....... what do you guys do with the cards and ribbons/bows from the shower?!
@justinandstephanie I know, I have so many cards that I hate just throwing them away. That's why I thought I could include them in my scrapbook.
I haven't gotten there yet but I found this cute page online!! So many cute things you can do! Love the idea for pre-wedding stuff...better choose a pre-wedding photographer (bridesmaid)!
Anyone seen any good pre-made/store bought wedding scrapbooks? My mom wants to get me a "wedding book"...I think they were more popular in her day...they have pages for showers (you list who was there, what you got, what games you played, etc) a page on your engagement, etc. My mom's looks a lot like a "school day book" or "baby book" for her wedding. I'm not really sure that it's something I need, let alone where to buy one, but she said she'd buy one if I found one I liked. I'm not really into scrapbooking but would love to honor her gift since it is important to her. Any thoughts?
CUTE IDEA! I was thinking about doing something like that for mine!
@sapphirebride- I would suggest going to Barnes and Noble, I've casually looked at their wedding planning books where you can fill things in and keep track of things and they a lot of different ones, you might find what you're looking for there!
Love it! I don't have pics but I'm doing one too. It starts out with pics we took the night we got engaged as well as cards we received. Then I'm putting in stuff like the business cards from my reception venue, the place I got my dress, fabric swatches, even a mag ad of our china pattern and other randomness! I also found a really cute vintage wedding planning guide on Etsy and have cut out some pics and added it around the book. :)
I have been scrapbooking al of our prewedding events!! I love it! I have a scrapbook from our beginning up until his proposal. I figured we would be geting a professional wedding book done, but I wanted to do something to comemorate the 14 moths long engagement. I'll tae pictures and post when I can.

I was wanting to make a scrapbook of me planning the wedding.... I have taken pictures at the bridal extravaganza, making thank you notes, etc.. and was wondering if anyone has put together any scrapbook pages of their own? I'd love to see them!
