Ok here is my plan in the making, only have four months to plan and going with a small budget.. So this is what I am thinking... just need a little feedback,

Inviteing only close friends and close family,

October 15th Morning Wedding, 10:30... simple short and sweet ceremony outside under the shadetrees right by the lake on my grandmothers place :)  Only decoration being gorgeous white chairs and minimal floral accents.

Petiete reception on site that will include cake, fruit, muffins, and maybe even some doughnuts! AND Mimosa's!!  :)  This will really just be a short meet and greet  per say.

Then we will have time for pictures and to clean everything up.. Then we can relax, I may even sneak in a nap...

Then we will have a party at our house that night at 7 or 8 (very informal) with ALL our friends and family.  We will have grroms cake, festive fall finger foods, such as mini caramel apples and popcorn balls, as well as sangria!!

:)  I am super excited, I would love some feedback Bee's

I love this idea! It sounds like you'll have a super relaxed and easy-going wedding day, which is so nice. My only piece of advice would just be to make sure you're OK with a morning wedding. If you still want have your hair and make-up done, you might have to get up pretty early. My cousin had a 9 am wedding, and everyone had to get up ridiculously early (I'm talking 5 am, earlier for some). But other than that, this sounds like a great idea for a wedding!

I am thinking I will shoo the FI off over to stay with his brother, and my sister and possibly my bridesmaids will stay at my house and start the day by getting toget with eachother over coffee and munchies :)  OH and why not a mimosa tooo :)

@MissNoodles: Humor was shineing through!! :)  loved it lol

I love your ideas! They sound similar to what I am planning in part. I also have a 10.30 ceremony, but we are having a Brunch Reception (with Mimosas) after instead of an evening informal dinner. We are also planning on fall-inspired foods for the reception.

Precious Morning Wedding... whatcha think? : wedding pews church outside rustic 3n83m43p55T65W25P0b62eca3c8b84fd91b39OH my GOODness....look what I just found...   CHURCH pews!!  I was planning on renting chairs.. which would be $250.00....

BUT now I want Church pews outside!!!  Found 12  eight foot pews!!  and they are only $300... bet I can talk em down a little!!!  But even if I dont that is $25 bucks a piece!! I can so re-sell em for that! Might could even give thema  faux finish, like antique or crackle and really sell em!

AND how sweet would it be to have a pew from our Wedding on our front porch!!

    * jumps up and down* LOVE!

    UPDATE!

Changed the time, date, and location!! lol  Oh and had a Change of Preacher!

Talk about a fair amount of stress. :)

New date is 9-10-11  Yep that is now only 16 days away!  I feel like I have soo much more to do!!  and the todo list gets longer instead of shorter!

The morning Wedding is now at 7 in the evening :)   Originally we had planned to have a beautiful ceremony  right on the lake..  BUT when we went to the location to start planning where everything would be what I saw was not the image that i carried around in my head.   We have been a drought so the lake is very low, the grass.... well it would be better to call it straw, everything is dry, dusty, and HOT. and there is no shade at all... YUCK.....

Sooo now we are having both the ceremony and the reception in our yard!! :)  We wil have more set up time, Everythig I need to get ready will be at my finger tips, and we have a lushious green yard covered in shade trees.... :)
