I’d rather go early for lunch and be home early enough to enjoy the rest of my Saturday doing whatever I may save to do on the weekend.

I would prefer to go to an evening shower, as by 5pm I will have already got through a large chunk of my weekend chores, so I’ll actually be able to relax and enjoy myself at the shower.  If the shower is at lunchtime I won’t be able to fully relax during it, as I will be thinking about everything I need to do after the shower.

@moneekw:  I like the noon, 1:00 time frame. I don’t have to wake up early for it, I can get a few things done before, if needed, and I have the rest of Saturday night to enjoy with whatever I want to do.

I prefer a late afternoon/early evening (4 or 5 pm).  Then, you can still make plans and get stuff done in the morning.  I went to a shower at 1pm last weekend, and was irritated.  It was right in the middle of the day.  I couldn’t go anywhere in the morning, and by the time it was done, I couldn’t plan too much either.  Sort of wastes the whole day.

I was going to answer around 2-3 b/c that’s when I usually go to showers…but with a meal and spiked punch and wine? Evening, please. Then I can continue the fun with whoever wants to go out!

I said 11:00Am, but I’d go even earlier! I hate to give up my weekend days for stuff like that!

Mine was at 2 and was perfect. However, we didn’t do full out meal just heavy appetizers… The shower was over by 5.. This gave people Saturday morning to sleep in/do whatever and then the rest of the evening to enjoy.

@moneekw:  Mine was at 2:30. Most people were gone by 5:30, I think.

Mine is going to be at 1 – I always preferred that as it seemed as if I still had my Saturday to myself. 🙂

I think 3 is a perfect time.  Mine is at 4pm due to scheduling conflicts (was supposed to be at 3).  Oh well!  I think any time between 11am and 4 is good…depending on what you want to do for it.  If you are just having snacks and some alcohol I like later afternoon would be better.  I think 11-1 is good if you want to serve a full meal or if you want to do brunch.
