I think she should be ok because of the empire waist. What design are those dresses? i love them!

Congrats to your BM! You might be able to put a lace up in the back if needed to make a little more room, but she might be ok depending on how far along she is come wedding time!

She should be ok stomach wise, and if they’re quality dresses (which  they look like), there will be seam allowance in the bust to give her more room if necessary.  Otherwise as PP suggested, you could have it altered to allow for a lace up back.

anhelms:  I think she will be fine. It’s chiffon and an empire waist. We may end up choosing similar dresses because both of my MOHs are TTC and I want them to be able to wear something comfortable, just in case!

anhelms:  Aww! Those dresses are so pretty! And YAY baby!! That’s so great for them!

I think she’ll be fine! The dress is empire and flowy, plus I’m sure there’s some extra fabric on the side if it needs to be let out on the chest a bit. That’s a pretty simple alteration that shouldn’t take too long.

She will be fine if she is only 4 months along at the wedding.  I don’t think you have anything to worry about.  Oh, and I love the dresses.

I had a dress very similiar to that for a friends wedding. I gained at ton of weight between when I got it and when the wedding was because of some new meds I got put on. It was expensive, but I was able to take it to a tailor and they actually added fabric to the under layer that was VERY close to the color of the original fabric. Because of the upper layer, you couldn’t tell AT ALL that it had been let out and extra fabric had been added!! You’ll be fine 🙂

Here’s the picture: the side is where they added the extra fabric and you can’t tell AT ALL!!

anhelms:  It will fit with no problems. I was in a wedding with a 7 month pregnant bridesmaid with a lot less forgiving dress. It fit (2 sizes bigger than normal). Worst case, they can alter the back by the bust, but that shouldn’t be necessary.
