Pregnancy after miscarriage, did you have early early symptoms?

@nataliegrace90:  It is possible, I’ve seen other bees get PG right afterwards. The only downside is that sometimes the HCG is still in your system and you don’t know when you take a test. If your HCG was back at 0 then you have no worries and if you get a positive test it’ll mean you’re PG 🙂

Good luck!!

@nataliegrace90:  Ater both of my miscarriages I had what I believed were strong pregnancy symptoms the following months. Before AF showed up, I would have bet money on the fact that I was pregnant again. I think my body was just playing evil tricks on me and my PMS symptoms were a lot stronger following the miscarriages.

That’s just my personal experience though and you could very well be pregnant. I really hope that you are!

@nataliegrace90:  I could have written this post.  In fact, I did a few months ago.  I miscarried late February at 6 weeks pregnant.  Very “easy going” miscarriage – it was like a period.  I went back to the dr. 9 days afterwards to check my uterus and make sure it was empty and everything had passed – which it had.  Took a cheapo pregnancy test 2 or 3 days later to make sure my levels were back down – negative.  3 weeks after my miscarriage started feeling pregnant again (never got a period after the miscarriage) so I tested to see what was up and it was positive.  My doctor said he highly doubted I would be pregnant again so fast but after 2 blood tests, it was confirmed that I was indeed pregnant again.  I am now 20 weeks along.  It can happen – and it can happen wothout having a period in between (I must have ovulated 2 weeks after my miscarriage).  Since you dont know when you would be expecting your period, i would take a test now or in the next couple days.

Here is the thread that all the bees helped me on when I didnt know if I was really pregnant or if my symptoms and positive prego test was residual from the mc.  Good luck to you.

@BearyLovely:  omg I almost cried reading your update, I could have written this. I never got the confirmation that the hcg was negative before getting positives weeks after the MC. I’m on egg shells waiting for my second hCG to come back on Monday to see if the level is rising.

@nataliegrace90:  I can’t believe you are in this situation too!!! I’m losing my mind! I hope our bodies aren’t playing evil tricks on us. I’m so afraid. I am getting positive FRERs but I never got confirmation that the hCG had dropped low enough to be negative so I’m not sure if it’s just leftover hCG or a new pregnancy. After the bleeding stopped all symptoms went away and I could’ve sworn I ovulated slowly started to feel symptoms again. They come and go and are mild. I’m so frustrated!!!!! My level on Tuesday was 14 which would be on target for 8dpo which is where I thought I’d be if I did ovulate when I felt like I did. I had blood work this afternoon and will get the result monday morning. I am dying.

@As_You_Wish:  Thanks for your input as well. It’s good to have this info. It very well may be just after MC changes in cycle. I’m adding the link to one of your similar threads just for reference.

Getting BFPs at 10 and 11 dpo on FRER’s gives me hope but I’m still nervous about leftover hCG from the MC even though it was an “easy” MC – like a regular AF and my hCG dropped quickly. I SO wish I had done tests in between to see if I got negatives.

@nataliegrace90:  I think there is a good chance you are pregnant. I miscarried a month ago in june. It was my first pregnancy and we got PG on the first try, We felt SO lucky. It ended up being a “missed miscarriage” went in for our 12 week appt to learn baby had stopped growing right after my first appt around 6.5weeks. It was so heartbreaking. I had a D&C exactly a month ago. My doctor told me to wait for one period before trying again but her only reasoning was to be able to date me better, DH and I have not been using any fom of birth control and Im secrectly hoping Im pregnant again! Although I will be utterly terrified this time around. If I dont get my period by mid week next week Im gonna test. Im hoping bc my cycle was so regular before I got PG that it got right back on track quickly. FX for you you I hope you are PG with a healthy baby!

I got pregnant 20 days after my miscarriage (@ 5+4weeks) and had some heavy duty symptoms both times in my 2WW’s. I was HOT, waking up in the middle of the night, SUPER TIRED, had all sorts of weird cramps, my breasts grew & my nipples were super sensitive from around 4-5DPO.

I only got my (FAINT!!) BFP on 14DPO, after a BFN on CD11. I’m now 11 weeks & going strong!! 🙂

I got pregnant the first cycle we tried after our m/c.  My doctor recommended waiting to get a normal period before trying so we didn’t try the first cycle after my m/c.  However, we started trying immediately after that and got pregnant on the 2nd cycle after the m/c, first one we tried.  I definitely think our bodies can be more fertile after a miscarriage so I’d say there’s a chance you are pregnant again.  I felt the telltale pulling/stretching cramps 8DPO and just knew they were the same ones I had felt previously.  Sure enough, BFP the next day.  Good luck to you!
