@JessesGirl:  Its a blast, I cried once when I was pregant with my oldest because I wanted menudo (mexican soup) so bad but it was a weekday and most restaurants only make it fresh on the weekends. Let’s see what I cry about with this pregnancy.

Hey we go through it all having their babies, they could deal with an emotional outburst here and there. hehe

@JessesGirl:  A couple of weeks ago, DH woke me up because he was leaving for work.  I said some made up word to him, and in my head, I was telling him something vitally important.  He repeated it, because, hey, nonsense coming out of his wife, and I got so livid.  I yelled, woke up the baby, and slammed the bathroom door, and the poor guy was like “Honey, I don’t know what that word means!”

Then, I had to open the door, all ashamed and apologize because I had no clue what I was talking about either.

When I had my first baby, those crazy emotions lasted for a solid two weeks after.  Then, one day, I woke up, felt like myself, and I didn’t even realize how off-kilter I’d been until I was normal again.

You’ll get through it!  And he’ll forgive you for it too 🙂

@JessesGirl:  Sorry, I couldn’t help but laugh. I did something very similar last night to my DH. It’s kinda funny looking back now, but at the time it was horrendous. I then had to explain that I wasn’t trying to be a bitch, but he wasn’t convinced. I feel your pain :(.

@dannielle89:  I saw someone on another thread mention the power of pregnancy suggestion–I dreamed one night about funfetti cake with chocolate icing, and while I didn’t wake up DH at 3am to get it for me, you’d better believe I sent him to the store after breakfast for it.

My hormones have actually been better during the pregnancy for the most part, except for a few occasions.  The morning after we moved into our new place, when I was only about 15 weeks along, I sent DH to get bagels for breakfast, and specifically requested a chocolate milk.  Not only did he forget the chocolate milk, but he also got me a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese – EW!!!  I lost it on him, and even while I was upset and freaking out, I knew that I was acting like a crazy person, and yet couldn’t stop.  Luckily, as I said, my hormones have actually been much better while pregnant than when not, and these incidents have been few and far between.

My DH has been working out of town these last couple weeks. He was home for a night last week to come to an appointment with me. We were sitting on the couch and I looked at him and burst into tears. I think he was a little confused and he was trying to figure out was wrong, finally I was able to pull myself together enough to let him know that I’ve been pretty much bursting into tears every night for no apparent reason. Sometimes over eating, sometimes over a tv show and sometimes I’ll just think about any random thing and cry. Can’t wait for this to go away!

@JessesGirl:  I’ve told this story on here, but I’ll tell it again just for you.

With my daughter, my DH woke up early to make me banana pancakes.  I took one bite, and proceeded to throw them up.  I couldn’t make it to the bathroom, so after clamping my hand over my mouth to keep the vomit in, it sprayed on the wall.  Then, I proceeded to throw up in the kitchen sink so hard that I peed myself.  DH cleaned up every bit of it, because I cried in the shower that I was disgusting, and he was never going to love me again.

True story.

If you want to feel bad for your DH, feel bad when it gets way, way worse.  Otherwise, know that it’s something that happens!  I’m sure he knows that it wasn’t you that was talking!

OP: I’ve been there more than once! My husband thinks I’m crazy hormonal.
