I do.  They started around 7 or 8 weeks and were multiple times a week and I’m at 30 weeks now.  I actually take prescription pain medication to help, however, at the beginning a midwife suggested I take two magnesium supplements a day with a caffeinated drink and that took the edge off of them at times.

I’d talk to your OB.  You’re pretty limited on actual migraine medications.  I think I tried Fioricet and it didn’t do anything, but I know it’s a safer option.

I hit 6w yesterday and got a bad sinus headache. I’m not quite sure if it was a migraine but I definitely had to close my eyes and block everything out for a couple of hours. I think I had a milder one the day before too. I really haven’t come up with a solution for them yet but I’m am in for solutions because I can only see this getting worse.

@BeccaBee83:  I take vicodin for them.  To be fair, I took tylenol with codeine first, but was bumped up to the vicodin because of the migraines and other pain (I’ve had some health issues this pregnancy).  The codeine, even in small amounts, helps a lot more than anything OTC.  I’ve heard a lot of people do well with fioricet though and it’s safer.  I have to stop all medications at 34 weeks to reduce possibility of withdrawals in the baby though, so I’m not anticipating that!

I do. I have just been taking hot showers, having some caffeine, laying down with a warm towel on my eyes or ice pack on my neck.

I have!  It’s really been my ONLY pregancy symptom so I feel like I can’t complain too much.  For the milder ones I try Tylenol and a little caffeine but the 3 or 4 that have turned into a full on migraine there hasn’t been much that helps besides lying down in a dark, quiet room and trying to fall asleep.

We have noticed recently that it seems to be about every Sunday that I get a bad headache.  I almost wonder if maybe I run around too much or overdo/overwork myself on Saturdays (we’ve had lots of weddings and other activities going on).  So I’m going to try to take it a little easier and see if that helps.

Best of luck, I know it’s not fun!

I’ve been getting them, usually when I haven’t been able to hold down caffeine for the day. I found that taking floricet helps but only if I take two when I feel it coming on. If I wait it out, there’s no saving me 🙁

@BeccaBee83:  I’m exactly the same way. I posted about it too. I was getting migraines about once a week from week 11 until recently (week 18). I didn’t get one while on my entire 2.5 week vacation that I just got back from so it could be a fluke.
