So all my friends just "wing it" when it comes to getting pregnant, but DH and I are going to be far more meticulous and plan it, due to my endo. The doc is giving me 6 months before i go back to my RE. We're looking to TTC late 2011....what are your favorite pregnancy magazines? I figure I better start learning now so that I am not overwhelmed down the road since I'll still be in grad school until 2013!

I have to say I was really disappointed by most of the mainstream ones. Lots of fluff articles and random scare tactics about things that are statistically VERY rare. The only one I like is Mothering, which you can find at Whole Foods and Borders. It's written from a natural parenting viewpoint, so if that's not your style, you probably won't like it. But I find the articles to be very long, well-researched, and useful.

Woot!  :)  I've been waiting for you to join the ranks, ejs!

I also like Mothering magazine, and American Baby, which is more mainstream.  I also read Fit Pregnancy when I was pregnant.

@Mrs. Spring, you're so sweet! It makes me hella nervous cuz i'd rather wait a few more years, but biologically, it is not smart. And since finances aren't an issue, we don't have a big reason to keep pushing it off. And, i have to admit, my heart melts when i hold my friend's baby. He is so sweet =].

Mothering it is! I am open to some natural stuff, but as far as hospital births, etc, i'm going to be very mainstream about that. But my OBGYN is also more on the natural side of not doing things unless they are necessary. I may also get Fit Pregnancy--i was reading it in the obgyn's office last month and i liked how big on staying healthy it was.

How cool--Mothering has a digital magazine option! I can get my read on without husband complaining about MORE magazines coming to the house =]

Ahhhh, just wait until it's your own little one.  :)  Everything I was nervous about just melted away the moment I heard Addie cry.  And you have nothing to be nervous about, anyway; you're going to be a great mom!
