Yeah I noticed a few months ago I was getting pimples, on my toosh! There doesn’t seem to be any stopping them…the clear up and new ones come along with marks ledt from the old. Not cute! I have been hiding my toosh from my husband ever since. jusy hoping it goes away after birth. since yours is more visible is just focus on spot clearing since you can’t take anything systemic. I don’t see why you can’t use a topical agent on the face at least.

goldengrlbride:  I had a similar experience. It’s awful! Nothing worked for me really. It got better as the pregnancy wore on, but the first trimester was really awful. I tried Belli skin care but didn’t do a thing, so I went back to my normal skin care routine – aveeno and apricot scrub.

I am 8 weeks pp and haven’t gone back on BC and my skin is completely clear.

goldengrlbride:  I’ll be honest so you don’t get upset if this happens to you…I totally expected it to drastically decrease by second trimester but it didn’t until early third! You never know what will happen everyone is different but just be prepared!

I’m on BC but I use honey and apple cider vinegar on my face, it might work well as a toner on your back as well. And it’s natural.

I have preggo pimples too. It was definitely worse in 1st tri and now they are sporadic Ones showing up on my law line. I didn’t make any changes to my skin care routine, but I noticed a huge improvement in my skin when I upped my water intake to around 3-3.5 L a day. If I go a few days where my water intake is less (usually on weekends when I am out and about) I definitely notice it in my skin.

Not had pregnancy pimples but I second the honey and apple cider vinegar! I used to have shocking acne and natural was the only way to fix it. Also try doing an oil cleanse – castor oil + vegetable oil all over the pimples then a hot-as-you-can-stand cloth on them to draw all the gunk out. Sudocrem helps to calm them down too if they’re red. Zinc will help boost your skin from the inside but not sure if that’s okay while pregnant.
