Yes! I swear I have been in my 2nd trimester for what seems like a year. And I still have a month to go before I reach the 3rd...
For me this has flown by! Part of it may have been my feeling so overwhelmed in the beginning, but I'm so glad that I've had plenty of time to mentally adjust. In fact, my partner and I were just lamenting last night that the past 25 weeks have flown by... (though the sick weeks were not exactly pleasant!)
It's interesting - during the first tri I was so focused on getting through each week - seemed like forever before I finally got to go to the doc - then forever before I'd hopefully start feeling better. But it was a week by week focus - with the only goal hitting week 14.
Now when I think about pregnancy time I think "Only 6 months left!" What happened to the first 3 :) My life is so busy and we have so many trips and plans to carry us through to August that I hope the time goes fast. But I still want to enjoy it too!
it seems like forever to me, too...I'm 10 weeks, and each "new week" seems to take forever...I can't wait for my next apptmt, but it's not until 2/19
For me it is a little different, it seems as if time is going slow but the weeks are going fast. I know that doesn't make any sense whatsoever but that is exactly how weird it feels. It sometimes feels like I was back at 6 weeks and now that I am heading into my 20th, I cannot believe we are half way there. So much has changed since then.
OMG, it is moving SO SLOWLY for me too!! I had NO typical pregnancy symptoms in my first trimester. I didn't even really feel pregnant. Then my second trimester came and we have all these issues to deal with and it's moving so slowly! I just want her to be healthy, so I want 40 weeks to come and for her to stay in there! The other thing that's seems to make it move so slow is that I am barely showing at 24 weeks! Barely. I'm one of those people who looks fat, not pregnant. It's annoying!
@MightySapphire - I am sorry to hear you are dealing with so many issues. Fingers crossed everything turns out healthy! and I really can't wait to look pregnant, I am not sure I can handle being at 24 weeks and still not looking pregnant!
@jilian - did week 14 bring everything you had hoped?
@MightySapphire - I hope everthing turns out well! I wanted to tell you that most times of the day (especially) when I am sitting, I look very puffy and not preggie. That is one reason why I can't wait for the bump to pop out more.

So you know how as you get older, time seems to just keep moving more quickly? When I was a kid, summer would strech forever, and now it seems to go by before I even notice....Well, apparently this is NOT the case when you are pregnant! I feel like time is moving so slowlyyyyy....I feel like I have been in my first trimester for ages, and the second trimester - with its lack of nausea, and finally showing - is coming at a snails pace!! anyone else?
