Even if it's an empire fit, she'll be 7 months along. She'll definitely be in maternity clothes and will need a maternity fit bridesmaid dress.Unless she buys it really big and it is SUPER flowy.
I think it would help if you posted a link or picture of the BM dresses? I'm 7 months along now, and while I can't fit in my skinny jeans, I can still fit into my empire waist dresses.
It depends what her body type is now. I would assume that I could fit into a dress in my current size with an empire waist if I were 7 months along, primarily b/c my waist is so small. But there is no way to predict if she will need a maternity dress now. My oldest sister ordered a maternity dress for our other sisters wedding and literally up to 1 week before the wedding it was way too big for her. She suddenly 'popped' and it was the perfect size! So if I were you I would just wait and see - if you want to order her the maternity version to be safe that's a good idea.
I had a bridesmaid that was 5 months pregnant, I just asked her what she preferred - she's usually an XS so we got her an S dress, and she waited until last minute (like a few weeks before) to see if she needed to take it in at all - it actually fit her perfectly.
It definitely depends on the dress and the designer. I don't know what your colors are but is it possible for her to wear a different dress in an empire style? Or you mgiht be able to have the dress altered into an empire waist?
My sister (MOH) is also pregnant. We bought her dress a little too big, but when she tried it on the other day we couldn't get it zipped up! It wasn't just because of her belly either, it was mainly her boobs. They're huge now! We took it to the seamstress, but there was nothing she could do so we just got her another dress. She wont match the bm's, but I think everyone will understand why the pregnany girl is in a different dress :)

My bridesmaid just called and told me that she is pregnant! I am thrilled for her as she has been wanting a baby for a while.
i've now thought about a potential problem with the bridesmaids dresses, whcih have already come! The wedding is 6 months away and by then she will be 7 months pregnant. I would think that this will require a lot of fittings then.
Was just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation? i think the dress should be ok, as it is empire line really.
thanks
