My bridesmaid is pregnant and due in June, 2 months before my wedding. I am OVER THE MOON excited for her!
Does anyone have any tips for me to make this easier for her? She insists that she still wants to stand up with me. I’m going to let her pick her own dress (with straps to accomodate a nursing bra) and I’m going to make sure my venue has a private, comfortable, private place for her to nurse.
I told her initially that if at any time she doesn’t feel up for it, she can back out and I won’t be mad. Having never been pregnant, I don’t know how she’ll feel 2 months out.

She will feel great by then….well, except for maybe losing sleep with a nursing infant! It sounds like you have all the basics covered here – you sound like a really thoughtful bride!

I have a bridesmaid who will have given birth about three months before my wedding. When we ordered bridesmaid dresses, the sales clerk suggested she take her measurements when she was about four months along, rather than her normal weight, so as to allow for some extra room for fit and size.

First baby or second? I feel like a second-time Mom is going to be super fine, while a first-time Mom is going to be a little anxious. Either way, I’m sure she’ll be fine!

@BrandNewBride: She’s a first time mom – if she was an old hand I’d be less worried. I just don’t want it to be stressful or overwhelming for her!

One of my bridesmaids gave birth a month before the wedding… she was great all day, just took time early in the reception to pump. Her DH brought their baby to the reception and I had them seated directly next to the head table so she was always nearby. 2 months out, I think your bm will be fine and you have nothing to worry about.
