It looks like she wants the dresses to be pretty elegant, which I love. If she would consider switching dresses something that looks more like a maxi dress would probably look good. The only thing I can think of is that the style may not be elegant enough for the bride. I don’t have my bridesmaids dresses picked out yet, but I think the picture below is a pretty dress that would work well with you being around 8 months pregnant. Good luck!

My suggestion is to wait as long as possible to get your dress, then worry about it based on if you are pregnant, and if so, how far along you are.  Or are you worried about not matching others bridesmaids?

What designer is the dress? You can find out if the designer makes maternity styles that are close to the one the bride wants, or you can order it 2 or 3 sizes bigger, and have a seamstress work some magic.  My sister ordered a very similar dress for a wedding she was in, and anticipating being pregnant, she ended up not being pregnant at the wedding and to get it take WAY in.  But it worked out just fine!
