It happened to me when I began dating my FI. And it was really upsetting because I’m childfree by choice, and so is my FI. I can only assume my hormones were going crazy as we started dating, my libido was extremely high and I guess somehow my *body* would have wanted to reproduce, LOL !

ETA : I also dreamt twice that my FI was hiding kids he had from a previous relationship from me. o_O

@infinitykindaluv:  this is what it says in the dream dictionary

Dreams of being pregnant are symbolic and in a pregnancy dream you are often pregnant with something, but it is not about the baby in the dream it is more about yourself.

So the dream itself suggests that some aspect of yourself or your personal life is still in the growth and development phase. It could be an idea you had that is still growing and developing but which you are not quite ready to reveal to the world, you’re not quite ready to act on it or talk about it.

@bbfyso:  I like this interpretation. It’s also true that at the time, I had just broken up with my ex, which I loved dearly but we didn’t share the same goals anymore and were more and more roomates than couple. At the time, I was trying to figure out what I wanted in my life, and where this decision (after 9 years with my ex) would lead me. It makes sense.

But I also think my hormones went crazy, but hey, I had just met this awesome alpha male. XD

Sorry to threadjack, but I’ve noticed ever since I started watching the Walking Dead last year, I have zombie nightmares. I mean by that, sometimes the dream is absurd from beginning to end, but it will end with me getting a matchet and trying to destroy another person’s skull. o_O I read myself and I sound like a psycho. But that’s just incredibly stressful whenever I wake up, I can feel my heart racing as if I’ve been fighting for my life.

@infinitykindaluv:  I used to have pregnancy dreams all the time.   They always seemed to come at a stressful time in my life.  Not sure if that meant anything, but I would wake up sad and stressed.

I found out when I was about 30, that I couldn’t have kids, but continued to have the dreams.

Yes, sometimes getting an abortion is included in the dream.  I find I get them when I am bloated or have a sore back or something.  My actually symptoms influence my dream.

@infinitykindaluv:  I’ve had tons of dreams where I was pregnant! My mom said she’s had a lot too, even when she wasn’t pregnant. I really am looking forward to having a baby in the future but it won’t be for at least 5 years.
