@Lizzy723:  It’s ok to be disappointed that she might not be there. But I think you realise that your FSIL’s health is paramount. So don’t dwell on it. Your wedding will be wonderful with or without her.

I was recently at a wedding where the bride’s brother and SIL couldn’t travel because the SIL was pregnant. It was still a wonderful happy day, and they talked by Skype on the morning of the wedding.

OP, yes it is sad that she may miss the wedding, but her health is paramount right now.

@Lizzy723:  If she just found out she is pregnant, she *should* be fine for your wedding, but she may need to sit down instead of stand with you at the ceremony.

@Lizzy723:  Ok in that case, yes she will probably miss the wedding. But the baby/pregnancy is a higher priority for them than your wedding. I hope she and baby are ok and she is able to carry the pregnancy to full term safely.

@Lizzy723:  I think it is okay to be dissapointed but don’t let her know! She probably feels aweful and has a baby to think about

@Lizzy723:  Hopefully they can celebrate with you another time, and celebrate the new baby as well.
