@Neva: lol! I was talking about this in the chat last night and no one heard of it!

I told myself I would turn it…and I ended up watching the whole thing. Gah. You are not the only one. I cannot believe some of those women. BLEH.

haha yes!  I live in NYC, so I unfortunately encounter these types of people every day.  They televise the worst ones though.  Ive been going to Rosie Pope for awhile now for clothing, etc, and we’re taking a few of her MomPrep classes.  Im guessing she’ll blow up after this series airs though.  But i do love watching that show!

Rosie just had her baby this past february actually (her second, another boy) so she must get pregnant at some point during filming!

I love this show too. The episode you are discussing I watched in horror. DH was home and even he said, who gets married and doesn’t ask what religous beliefs are going to be passed down to the child. We both were shaking our heads. However, besides taht the couple seemed ready for the baby unlike some of the others.

I love this show though. I love how she tells them how it is. I am also surprised by the snottines of some of the women, when it comes to changing diapers, or getting their house ready for the baby. It’s like they didn’t realize what a baby was when they got pregnant.

When my husband saw this show for the first time, he decided a career change was necessary.  I think he could make A LOT more money as a pregnancy liason.

@KellyV: THANK YOU for this spoiler! I hate the suspense of knowing whether or not she gets pregnant. I looked on the net but couldn’t find any articles about a recent baby. Now I can watch the show without the anxiety!

I’m so addicted to this show! Some of these women leave me absolutely speechless. Like the one who had no idea how to change a diaper and was going to have the nanny do everything for her. Ugh!

My DH couldn’t believe the jewish/catholic couple. He thought it was absurd that they didn’t talk about this before they got married.

Rosie’s accent confuses me! What is it exactly? I know she’s from the UK, but she doesn’t sound british….

I watched it! 🙂 I have to find it online though because it’s on past my bedtime.

Rosie’s accent kind of makes me crazy – it’s like English/Valley Girl but sometimes it sounds like she may have a little bit of a lisp (althought it might be due to the weird combination). After watching all the episodes I kind of like her, especially since she’s going thru IVF and sharing it on television (that’s pretty brave), plus she’s pretty funny.

But the mommies are pretty ridiculous (the couple with the focus group was terrible) – with the exception of the couple that came to her for help with their sex life (I thought they were cute).

@camrie: um how about the lady that had never held a baby and said she didnt want to change diapers becuase “thats work, I dont want to do work.”  I mean really?!  Then when Rosie brought in a real baby and she passed it to her husband bc the baby was too heavy?!  LOL
