oh my god are we twins? I feel like most of this was something I wrote yesterday.
ETA: Are you TTC?
I have been off birth control ttc before. Honestly the first month off every time i had pregnancy symptoms especially cramping and breast tenderness. It is just the effects of the birth control wearing off. I would wait another 2 weeks and if you don't get a period than try a pregnancy test.
I would call your dr again. It could be possible you have some other vaginal infection if it hurts during sex. And UTI's can easily turn into a kidney infection so make sure to take all antibiotics. I know when I had a UTI they did a pregnancy test at the same time, only because I wasn't using any BC at the time. Hopefully you feel better soon!
Few questions:
During your UTIs, have you consumed any alcohol, coffee, and/or soda? If so, those are irritants. You should only be drinking a ton of water with your antibiotics along with cranberry juice. Another suggestion is to drink cranberry juice right before bed so it stays in your bladder longer. It helps promote a healthier urinary tract.
Are you having sex often during this time too? This is also an irritant. As much as it sucks, it's better to abstain from sex and any other irritants. My UTI disappeared in 3 days. It is possible you may now have a kidney infection though. I would definitely get checked.
Seems like we are all getting UTIs around the same time. Strange. Hope you're feeling better soon.
@DesireeAnne: i have definitely been limiting my caffeine and alcohol, and have not had sex at all during this time.
my symptoms for the UTI have gone away, but i am still having lower pelvic/stomach pain.
Call your doctor. Is it possible that you have endometriosis? I know some of the symptoms are very painful cramps and pain during/after sex. Being on the pill might have been masking some of these symptoms.
I agree that it could be endometriosis. To me it doesn't sound like kidney stones (I have both), those are more like twinges and scraping to me.

My health has really not been great lately. I have been in and out of the doctor 3 times in the past weeks for UTI's, but recently was having such severe cramps that I believed it may be Kidney stones. I know that antibiotics cancel out birth control effectiveness, so I guess there is a chance I could be pregnant.
Anyone know how soon after conception you can find out if you are pregnant? I just stopped taking my BC about 10 days ago, so I am sure my cycle is out of whack, and I won't really know when my "missed" period is.
Also, I have been having slight breast tenderness. Just slight enough that I feel like it may be all in my head?
Yesterday, my hubby and I had sex for the first time in a couple weeks (because of all my health issues). It was very painful, and for the 3 or 4 hours afterwards, i felt like i had a bolwing ball in my vagina. Could this be indicative of anything?
One last question. Because of my recent trips to the doctor, I have gotten multiple urine analyses and blood tests done. Would the doctors be able to see if I was pregnant in my results, or is that a specific scan that needs to be done? IF it is something that automatically shows up in the results, and does not need to be specifically tested for, then I must not be pregnant because the doctors would have told me!
I would love to hear any responses to ANY of the above questions/concerns. I know this post is all over the place... Would love to hear back from you all!
