have you already purchased your dress? if not, maybe you can get a dress that fits you how you are maybe at 7-8 months. then of course the dress will be big, but its easier to take a dress in then to let one out or worst buy a whole new dress.
a friend of mine was preggo and purchase a sheath, flowing type dress for her wedding. she was still preggo on her wedding day, but she was a lot bigger at the wedding than the day she bought it. she was still able to fit it
Never been pregnant, but if you already bought your dress, could they add a corset and a modesty panel?
I see you will already have your baby by the time the wedding rolls around. Which means you sweet girl will get to be a part of your big day! How exciting!
I have never been in that situation but I would suggest to just take care of yourself. Don't stress about losing weight. Some of that will come off naturally with having a baby. And the rest? Who cares? You will be beautiful on your wedding day and will be able to show off the product of your love for eachother. I can imagine it is stressful so just take a deep breath and enjoy the ride. Both of them!
You can basically plan on being at the weight you are at the very end of your pregnancy minus 20 lbs. I lost exactly that much with both kids naturally with breastfeeding by the 3rd month. (and I gained 40 both times) You can't really diet much if you're breastfeeding. Also, you aren't even cleared to have sex for 6 weeks after birth, and I wasn't cleared to jog for three months. (even then, it hurt, so my dr. recommended waiting another month--if you work out too much right after, you can really injure yourself and do permanent damage ) it took me six additional months of dieting/working out to get back into my original jeans...Hollywood expectations just aren't realistic, hate to say. So, just don't stress about the weight since it is very possible it won't be in your control. It takes 9 months to put on the weight, so it's only natural that it would take at least 9 months to lose it. :( you'll be beautiful no matter what size you are! Good luck!
I am! We are getting married next Jan and we are due in sept. I ordered my dress a size too bid and I am getting a corset back put in.
Congrats!! You are going to have so much fun! I plan on breast feeding so hopefully that will help the weight come off. I am also trying to do work outs for my arms. In the dress I chose as long as my top half looks good then my butt can hide underneath. I cannot wait to buy baby a cute little outfit to wear at our wedding!
Good luck! And congrats!

Hello fellow bees!
My fiancé and myself have been engaged for over a year. In order to have the wedding and reception of our dreams, we booked our wedding a year and a half in advance for this July. And now were pregnant! Going on 6 months with a baby girl due in April. She was not planned or expected but we are very excited for her arrival! So far we have spent a fortune on our summer wedding and are in no position to postpone it. My question for you is, has anyone out there reading this been in the same scenario? What was your post baby strategy for losing weight and preparing for the big day? My little girl has already helped Mama pack on quite a few lbs! Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!!
