I’m trying to compile a list of all of the songs I want to use for our wedding. . .
I’m just wondering HOW MANY songs do I need for the Prelude and Recessional? I have 5 songs for the Prelude strictly for when the guests are arriving and sitting down. The Processional is broken down into the Mother’s entrance, Guy’s entrance, Girl’s entrance, Ring Bearer’s entrance, and Bride’s entrance. Then I’m wondering how many songs I need for the Recessional? I’ve only come up with two. Do I need more for the guests that stick around a little longer? How many songs are you using?

I didn’t even think about this.. I’m just hoping my dj has a set he usually plays for this stuff (besides the bridal party enterances & bride enterance, I know what I’m doing for that).. if not I have no idea what I’m going to play.

Here’s what I have for prelude:
Bruno Mars – Marry You
Train – Marry Me
The Dixie Cups – Chapel of Love
Boys Like Girls ft. Taylor Swift – Two is Better than One
98 Degrees – I Do (Cherish You)
Jason Mraz – I Won’t Give Up
For the Recessional I’ve managed to come up with:
OneRepublic – Good Life
Queen – Crazy Thing Called Love
Colbie Caillat – I Do
Counting Crows – Accidentally in Love
Stevie Wonder – Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)
I’m sure DJ’s do have their own suggestions, but I’m really picky about my music and want it to set a fun tone for the entire evening. I just don’t know how many songs I need for either of these or if what I have is enough. . .

We’re just using one recessional song for us. When that song is done playing, other poppy love songs (Beatles, Iron and Wine, etc.) will just start playing a little softer in the background.

Once we hear, you may kiss the bride, Jimmy Cliff’s song I can see clearly now will start playing. I think it will be just a nice fun song to start the partyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
