@pink_sherbert:  I’ve been taking the New Chapter perfect prenatal and they’re great! I tried New Roots for a bit, but it made my early pregnancy nausea worse. I think because the New Chapter are food-based, they assimilate easily and no neon pee! 🙂

@pink_sherbert:  I’m taking the New Chapter Perfect Prenatal vitamins. The lady at the health food store highly recommended them over all of the other brands. I was also concerned about having to take 3 pills a day but she said that your body actually absorbs more of the vitamins if you take smaller doses 3 times a day than it does if you just take one larger dose per day. With the one-a-day pills, you end up peeing out a lot of the vitamins because your body can’t process that much at one time. I ended up buying one of those daily pill sorter things so I could make sure that I don’t forget to take my vitamins 3 times a day.

I’d love to tell you that the vitamins have given me more energy but I just switched to these vitamins when I got my BFP and I’m tired ALL the time but I think that’s just from being pregnant. Btw, apparently Gwyneth Paltrow swears by these vitamins!

I use Nature Made and I am switching to something else as soon as I’m done with the bottle. They taste like dirt.

@AstoriaK:  I take those too, and I hate them.  I think they taste like cat food smells.  The only reason I’m still taking them is I paid for the big bottle and I hate to waste the money Undecided

Where do you buy Rainbow Lights or New Chapter Perfect vitamins? I’ve been looking for a new vitamin, too. I’m currently taking a Walmart brand, and I hate anything Walmart these days.

@pink_sherbert:  Thanks! I wonder if they are sold at a store like GNC or a grocery store in the US. I’m still ignorant when it comes to that stuff. Do you bees know? Or do you order those offline, too?

@abbylyn:  EXACTLY! I bought them because they were two for one… regretting it.

I take New Chapter Prenatals after getting advice on here. Most people that votes in my poll liked the Rainbow Lights gummy vitamins, but I went against the poll I guess.

I love them. The only thing is taking them 3x a day is kind of a pain in the butt, but my body has a hard time with pills and these haven’t upset me once.

I’ve been taking Womens OneADay Prenatals.  hasn’t been too bad.  My girlfriend gave me one of her bottles to try of Centra Natals as they are prescribed but have a natural stool softener in them and she said are easy on the stomach.  I haven’t tried them yet but will be soon.

I was taking generic prenatals with iron, which were fine, but I’ve been pretty constipated since I got KU.  I’ve switched to taking the gummy kind mostly, because they don’t have iron, and also they’re delicious. But those are generic too, I’m really not sure how much different vitamins make a difference aside from taste and ingredients.

Yeah I was worried the DHA ones I take that came with Womens One a Day would have a fishy taste and I don’t taste anything.  My BFF is taking the Gummies too, she really likes them.

FYI (for american bees) Earthfare has New Chapter on sale AND they had the booklet of coupons that you pull off right next to is for $10off 1 so the 48c bottle was only $17 dollars.
