- Wedding: January 2011
FI was raised in a Pres. church but no longer practices *outside of holidays at least* I was raised Baptist-ish lol and don’t really go to church either and neither of us are overly religious but we both would like a church wedding. We’ve decided if possible to get married in a Pres. Church *there is one nearby he’s still techninally a member of one and besides that his grandfather paid to have a lot of the church redone so that should count for something* but that’s another story.
I know squat about the religion the weddings everything…
The 1st Pres. CHurch we wanted *closer to both our families now and a lot of friends* wouldn’t let us because we were not members *well we could only use the chapel for a ceremony, no reception which we want and charge a $1000* so we’re now looking at his hometown church or one that is in my college town etc etc.
So with all this great jazz being said let me get to the point. What are the rules for these weddings?
The 1st place stated no photography during the ceremony *that’s super impt to me*
What rituals/traditions must we do?
do they normally charge a lot to get married there
what can i expect at counseling?
this is all for now but i might report back with other questions
thank you for your help
