I have an interview for a teaching position at a preschool. Any suggestions on what I could wear? I want to be formal enough, but I know I will need to be wearing appropriate clothing where I can interact with the kids 🙂

@bootsy: I was a preschool teacher before getting pregnant earlier this year!
I wore VERY low heels, a full, tea-length skirt, and a blouse with a cardigan!
Very 1950s housewife. And I worked for a VERY fancy/expensive Boston center!

Currently in preschool! I had two interviews, for the first I wore dress slacks, flats, dress shirt and blazer. For the second I wore dress pants and nice blouse with a cardigan and heeled boots. 🙂

I would wear black or grey dress pants with a dressier shirt. I wore low heels and came prepared with my portfolio. I am a preschool teacher (4k) and I wore something similiar to this when I got the job. I made sure my nails were done nicely too.
