@weddingbee098:  Just remember to take deep breaths 🙂  They wouldn’t be asking you to do this if they didn’t think you were ready or prepared.  Go rock their socks off!

ALSO. I hope you are planning to treat yourself to something after work today.

I find it easier to do tasks I am not entirely comfortable with if I promise myself something aweseome later. That way I have something positive to concentrate on if I get nervous/ mess up (I used this trick a lot during college, but I never really “messed up,” just felt like I was)

Ice cream? Beer? A nice hot bath? Pick up a last-minute Groupon for a massage?

Anyway, YOU’LL DO FINE!!

You got this.  I’m sure you know the information better than your boss and your boss knows it to.  Speak slowly and clearly and I’m sure you’ll be fine. Good luck!!

@weddingbee098:  when I have to present to those types, I always try and remember that they are normal people with lives and families.  My dad is a CEO and you would never know it, if you ever encountered him outside of work. He reads to my niece and watches sports and cried when I got engaged. Just remember that they are normal people that you can relate to.  Try not to put them on as much of a pedestal- it will only make you nervous!

You can do it!  Relax, make sure you go to the bathroom first (:P) and have something to drink while you’re in the meeting.  Pretend you’re not nervous, focus on why you care about this topic/why you’re making the points you’re making/what you’ve discovered, maintain good posture, and knock it out of the park!!! 😀
