My cousin showed me this awesome website where they make petals from your wedding flowers into beads, which they make into jewelry. What a great way to preserve your bouquet, huh? I think I’m going to get a bracelet and add it to my everyday jewelry (right now a simple silver necklace and my e-ring, both from FI). I will love being able to tell people about it! http://www.blossomstobeads.com/

I’ve seen that! Celine Dion did that with flowers that were sent from friends/fans when her father died.
Definitely a cool idea for wedding bouquet flowers!

That is a great idea! I will check out the site. I also checked out the http://www.flowersintopaintings.com website. My friend had this done last year and it is amazing. Her real flowers are actually in the painting. You should check that out as well. I will likely have a rosary made with some of my flowers for me and my mom, and then get a painting created with the rest of my flowers. But the jewelry idea may make a great bridesmaids gift! Thanks for the idea!

I love this! How great would it be for me to get bracelets or necklaces for me, my daughter & future step-daughter to wear after the wedding! Thanks for sharing!

I had jewelry made from my flowers, and I love it. I used Forever In Time, website is http://www.foreverintime.org Her jewelry is different then the others, its not beads, they are beautiful. The colors are bright, and all sorts of different shapes. I had a shadowbox made too, she does awesome work!!

That’s so cool! What are the prices like? Say for a bracelet?

@MademoiselleL: I paid $200.00 for the shadowbox total, and jewelry pieces I think were $20-$25

@tnelson: That’s actually really reasonable! Awesome!
