Due to a confluence of factors beyond my control , my wedding date has been moved out 6+ months later than I expected to be. I purchased some gorgeous SILK centerpieces at Big Lots this past Valentine’s Day that want to use for my now- moved-up-to-May wedding. I am thinking of wrapping the centerpieces in plastic and keeping them in my closet (because its dry and dark) to keep them looking new. Any other preseveration tips to keep them looking good until May 2011?

Keep them out of direct sunlight. Honestly, you do not have to wrap them or do anything else special. Being silk flowers, there is nothing that is going to happen to them during that period of time.

Just keep them covered and out of the sun. If you want to give them a pick up, there is a spray that is called silk n splendor that you can use. It cleans them and helps them to repell dust and retain their lustre.
And, sorry you have to postpone your wedding.

Maybe put them in one of those plastic storage bins so they don’t collect dust?
