Yesterday one of my BMs and I went to two local bridal stores looking for crinolines and had positive results.
One rents crinolines for $35.00. The other sells them new for $45.00. With the latter, it comes folded within a package and the owner said I’d have to press and steam it to get the puff back. When the crinoline came out of the packaging, it fluffed up, but he said it can go even bigger and by pressing and steaming it, I’ll have more control over the size of the puff.
Has anyone ever heard of this and/or pressed and steamed their crinoline? It is a difficult process? I don’t have a steamer at home. I didn’t buy or rent anything yet, but I do know I’ll be going with either place (if the rented one cames “ready to wear” with no work needed on my part, then probably that one).
