How far along are you? In one of the childbirth classes they told us that when the baby gets too big it'll sit on your bladder and block the pee. They'll move a little bit and a tiny drop might come out, but the head will still block most of it, obviously making you very uncomfortable. This has been happening to me a lot, one night I went to the bathroom 5 times in like 10 minutes and barely anything came out.
I've also heard that bladder infections are common in pregnancy though, so you might want to call your doctor just in case.
Almost 30 weeks. It also kinda sounds like a UTI except for the no burning issue...I'm totally calling in the morning though. I just feel like a dork calling at night after hours for something that is probably so silly!
I've never been pregnant but I have had UTI's that gave me an amazing and uncomfortable desire to pee without any burning.
I would suggest drinking a tonne of water and if that doesn't help then I'd go see a Doctor (the water will help to flush your system and).
Good luck and hope you feel better soon!
i had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection and i had no burning at all when i when to the bathroom just feeling like i had to go all the time even when i didnt have to. but i had the worse pain in my side.
@Miss Sapphire: I've been having close to the same feeling. It is awful, especially if she moves or kicks my bladder... it feels like it's going to explode. I've been soaking my lady parts in salt water to see if it helps and it has a little, but not much. Let me know what they say. I'm 26 weeks, btw.
Sometimes its nothing at all.Ive never been pregnant before, but Ive had that feeling come right after I peed.Lots of times.A huge urge to have to pee comes upon me sometimes right after I pee.Burning too.No pain though.Ive been like this since childhood and have been tested a few times.Everytime I got tested, nothing showed up.
Its so bad sometimes that I have to stay in the bathroom until it goes away.WHen I was a child I remember one particular road trip with my family,I stayed in that bathroom for like half an hour!Because if I didnt I would have had to get into a packed car and that is the worst place to be when I get this feeling!!Very uncomfortable! My dad was like, what are u doing in there? Are u okay?lol
In any case,I hope that feeling leaves u and doesnt come back.Feel better.
I've had a similar feeling (never been pregs) and once it later turned into a septic bladder infection-- but that was a rather extreme case--so yeah, call. Especially when you're 7+ months along.
It doesn't have to burn to be an infection. I would make an appointment. I've been having the issue of "I have to pee" everytime I have been sitting then stand up. Very frustrating when you make the trip to the bathroom and only a couple drops trickle out. I'm 32 weeks.
Morning update:
Doctor thinks he dropped his head yesterday afternoon at work (work was hell yesterday) and it took awhile for it to really hit me that it was really uncomfortable. He's still active (but more "normal") even this morning so she's not worried. The pelvic pain/discomfort though is just him...moving around and banging my insides.
Lovely...but totally normal I guess!

For about the last 3 hours I've had pressure as if I need to use the bathroom (and yet I don't...trust me I've tried) along with general discomfort down in that whole area. It doesn't burn when I pee. The kiddo has also been active (bouncing from side to side...cartwheels perhaps) which is a little early in the night.
I came home from work and laid down, drank almost a whole gatorade and then took a warm bath. Nothing is really helping. I usually have a high tolerance for pain, which I don't classify this as pain, but it's really uncomfortable!
Any ideas on whether or not I should call the oncall nurse? It's seems rather trivial.
