What about those local or boutique beauty supply stores like Ulta, Pure Beauty, Peninsula Beauty Supply, etc.? You could even try variety stores like Daiso but I'm not sure about the quality.
Etsy would be my number one, they are very affordable. Before I knew of Etsy I had already gotten my hair peice at David's Bridal. $40 but very very cute. :)
vee: LOL After reading the first half of your question I thought "Wait a minute, when did I write this post?" I'm totally going through the same thing. I kept putting it off and I don't have anything either for my hair! Tryin not to stress though. Sorry I'm not of any help
oh no so i went to a couple boutiques and a local beauty store and couldn't find anything "bridal" and pretty... i live in LA... any specific suggestions?
This may be too far for you to drive, but apparently the website www.haircomesthebride, which specializes in hair accessories, has a physical store in Laguna Niguel.
NorCalBride, I just bought my hair clips from Etsy seller calexandra...she's amazing!!! Very affordable, if you can wait a week or so for shipment from the UK. Best of luck to you all!
Could you shop somewhere like veilshop.com and ask them to send a rush order? I got mine within a week, but maybe if you speak to a live person they can process it faster?
I'm also using Etsy for my hair accessories. I ordered a custom piece from Twigs & Honey and couldn't be happier with what I got. I know right now she has a few beautiful pieces that aren't reserved- and I'm sure she would give you upgraded shipping if you asked. She's really sweet!
i procrastinated and now it's 1.5 weeks from the wedding, and 4 days before my makeup trial, and i don't have any hair accessories.
can anyone recommend a good store to look for pretty pins/clips? (won't have time for online shopping at this point!)
posted by vee 172 posts 2 months agoTry large bridal gown stores. I went back to where I purchased my dress and there was a closet full of accessories.

There's a HUGE selection- although you might not be able to get it in 4 days.
