It would depend on lot on her tastes. I don’t weat a lot of jewelry and wanted a small ring. Honestly, if her hands are small, it might completely overwhelm them and she might not be able to wear it every day. It is pretty though!

Does she wear a lot of big flashy jewlery? Does she have any other rings on her fingers right now? If so, what do they look like?

Id wear something that big and flashy, but I don’t know anyone else in real life that would as its really big and really flashy.

It’s kinda big. Not a fan of gold, unless she is.  I’d go with something a bit smaller on the outside of the diamond.

I think it’s much too gaudy, but if that’s her style, go for it!

@EveryUserNamesTaken:  waaaay too much in my opinion, but I like simple jewelry, I had a single halo ring and my upgrade (still waiting on the phone call that it’s done.. Ahh!) is a round brilliant solitaire. Anything else you like that you would want to post pics of? Or it’s this the only one you’re considering?

I like it but not as an engagement ring. It kind of reminds me of a Superbowl ring. It is too bulky for my taste when thinking about wearing if day to day.

Honestly, it looks like a style better suited to a much older woman.

@EveryUserNamesTaken:  much better!!! I’m sure either of these if she likes bling and yellow gold would be lovely!!

Initial reaction: Oh gosh, that is too much!

I feel bad for saying that but that’s my opinion.

Oh, and a poll would help get you faster results.

Im personally not a fan of gold or halo rings. If I had to choose, I like the second pic that you just posted. The split shank is pretty & unique!

LOL Now that you mention it, it does look like a superbowl ring.

first one above.  Single band.  but still not fond of gold, but thats a personal preference.

If its that big on your hand it will be enormous on hers! I think the 1kt center stone with one smaller halo would be perfect and still flashy. The yellow gold is unique and beautiful. You are on the right track, just needs some tweaking!
