I was shooting for under 3K – I didn’t have a super set budget. But my two favorites were $3,200 (watters) and $3,700 (lazaro). Got the Lazaro down in final cost as I bought it at a trunk show so it ended up just under $3,200. I didn’t go into it with a dream dress in mind but I can’t picture myself in anything else now. No regret here!

I voted over 2K, and yes it was my dream dress. 🙂

I set my budget cap at $3000 and came in under budget at $2650…definitely my “dream dress” though!

My dream dress was ~$6000 (Claire Pettibone Chantilly). But def couldn’t afford it, so my real dress is Allure 8800 (which was ~$1400).

My dream dress was 13K, used 3K, and I found a different dress for $1000.

My dress was 1850, its beautiful but it wasn’t my dream dress. I guess I didn’t really have one at the time or didn’t try enough on to find my dream dress. I have NOW found my dream dress and it is probably close to 3 or maybe even over. But that is around my budget anways 🙂

@always_the_bridesmaid: whats your dream dress? I say go for it if you can afford it!!!

My dream dress ended up being $3,500 new. Yikes! That’s what I get for shopping at fancy boutiques and not looking at price tags before trying dresses on. I ended up finding my dress at a sample sale for over $1,000 less. I was planning on spending around $1,600, so it was definitely over budget, but it was a deal I just couldn’t miss out on.

@MsVoyageur:  Claire Pettibone dresses are just, so amazing. I tried a few on and it was so hard to walk away. But that price sure does give you a sticker shock!

    My dress was $700.

My dream dress #1 is $2000, I think? Enzoani Erin (minus the rhinestone bow):

Dream dress #2 is $1250, Vera Wang White:

Unfortunately, I purchased my dress before I really looked at other dresses/found WB/etc.
